Dog Days

A dog days usually fall between early of July and early of September. Depending on the region, latitude and climate, dog days in southern hemisphere is came between January and early of March.

Dog days can also called as a time period or event that is very hot or stagnant, or marked by dull lack of progress. The dog days originally were the days when Sirius rose just before or at the same time as sunrise, which is no longer true, owing to precession of the equinoxes. In Romans have habits to sacrifice dog at the beginning of the Dog Days to appease the rage of Sirius, believe that the star was the cause of the hot.
